Cores
Core A: Nanoparticle Engineering
Core Investigator: Peter Searson, Ph.D.
This Core supports projects through fabrication and characterization of a variety of nanomaterials. It will also work to develop new protocols for nanoparticle fabrication and development.
Core B: Validation
Core Investigator: Martin Pomper, M.D., Ph.D.
Through this Core, the strength of experimental results obtained from the CCNE's various basic research projects will be confirmed. Second, this Core will work with the CCNE to advance the most promising innovations generated in Johns Hopkins' laboratories and through partnerships with biotechnology companies interested in further testing and development of specific projects.
Core C: Bioinformatics and Data Sharing
Core Investigator: Rafael Irizarry, Ph.D.
The overall goal of this Core is to develop and apply computational methods to the management, analysis, and sharing of data arising from research in the CCNE that will advance the overall mission of the Center.
